Residents have until August 1 to file for unclaimed property tax refunds

Chairman of the Board and Third District Supervisor, Jeff Stone, along with Treasurer-Tax Collector, Don Kent, would like to notify Riverside County property owners and businesses that they have until August 1, 2014 to file claims for unclaimed property tax refunds.  Filing instructions and a listing of all unclaimed property tax refunds from tax year 2009 and prior is now available on the Treasurer-Tax Collector’s website at http://www.countytreasurer.org/TaxCollector/UnclaimedMoney/UnclaimedMoney.aspx .
