Monday (Aug. 10) is the deadline for voters to register and be eligible to cast a ballot in the Aug. 25 election. The Aug. 25 election includes the High Valleys Water District, the Idyllwild Water District, the Pine Cove Water District, the Rancho California Water District and is not a countywide election. It is also an all mail-ballot election, so there will be no established polling places.
Action on the 2015-16 California State Budget yesterday allows Riverside to compete for the honor of developing the world’s premiere air quality research facility, the new home for California Air Resources Board (ARB) Research Facility.
