The Riverside County Flood Control District will temporarily close half a mile of the Santa Ana River Trail between the S. Riverside Ave./Main St. and Highgrove Channel to the south in order for staff to perform necessary work along the levee.

Monday (Aug. 10) is the deadline for voters to register and be eligible to cast a ballot in the Aug. 25 election.  The Aug. 25 election includes the High Valleys Water District, the Idyllwild Water District, the Pine Cove Water District, the Rancho California Water District and is not a countywide election.  It is also an all mail-ballot election, so there will be no established polling places.
