Stacy Keffer


Deputy County Counsel

Stacy Keffer joined the office in early 2007. Initially, Ms. Keffer was assigned to represent Code Enforcement and the Economic Development Agency (“EDA”) with respect to various unlawful detainer matters. In 2008, Ms. Keffer prevailed in an unlawful detainer jury trial while representing EDA in its efforts to evict a tenant from the Indio Fairgrounds. 
 
Ms. Keffer was assigned to the conservatorship unit in 2008 and currently remains in that assignment. Ms. Keffer represents the Public Guardian in one-half of the approximately one thousand probate and LPS conservatorship cases handled by the Public Guardian. While representing the Public Guardian, Ms. Keffer appears in court almost daily, conducts numerous trials every week and has established an excellent rapport with several bench officers and various attorneys throughout the community.     
 
Ms. Keffer has served as a volunteer judge for the Riverside County Moot Court Competition.  
 
Ms. Keffer received her J.D. from Whittier Law School and received her B.A. from the University of California, Los Angeles.  
 
Ms. Keffer is admitted to practice in all state courts and the United States District Court for the Central District of California.
