Eric Stopher
Deputy County Counsel
Eric Stopher joined the office in 2005 and has worked, since then, in the Conservatorship and Mental Health section of the office. Along with one other attorney, they are responsible for managing a case load approaching 1,000 cases. Since arriving at the office, Mr. Stopher has prosecuted over 250 contested hearings, including over 150 court trials and one jury trial. Mr. Stopher is also counsel for the Department of Mental Health.
Mr. Stopher received his J.D. from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles, and his bachelor’s degree from California State University, Fullerton.
Mr. Stopher is admitted to practice in all state courts and all United States District Courts for the state of California.
