Jamila Purnell


Deputy County Counsel

Jamila T. Lindsey-Purnell joined the office in 2005. Shortly after joining our office, Ms. Lindsey-Purnell worked in the conservatorship unit establishing probate conservatorships for incapacitated or incompetent adults. In addition, Ms. Lindsey-Purnell represented the Riverside County Public Guardian in actions to establish LPS conservatorships for gravely disabled adults.
 
From 2008 to present, Ms. Lindsey-Purnell represents the Department of Public Social Services works in the juvenile dependency unit handling cases involving allegations of child abuse and/or neglect.
 
Mrs. Lindsey-Purnell obtained her Juris Doctor from California Western School of Law in San Diego, California and received her Bachelor of Arts from University of California, San Diego with a major in Political Science.
 
Mrs. Lindsey-Purnell is admitted to practice in all state courts.
