Anyone interested in running in the March 25 special primary election for the California 23rd Senate District may file papers for candidacy until 5 p.m. Friday (Jan. 31).
The Registrar of Voters staff is available to help prospective candidates complete the necessary paperwork and answer questions. Anyone who is unsure about their eligibility for office, based on residency, should contact the Registrar of Voters office for help. Candidates receive informational handbooks when they obtain their papers.
