Assistant Registrar of Voters Rebecca A. Spencer, who has worked in the Riverside County registrar’s office for more than 14 years, has been named interim registrar of voters. The appointment by county Executive Officer Jay Orr follows Registrar Kari Verjil’s retirement and takes effect tomorrow (Friday)
The Santa Margarita Region Watershed Water Quality Workplan (Watershed Workplan) update document was prepared by the County of Riverside, the Riverside County Flood Control and Water Conservation District (District), the City of Murrieta, the City of Temecula, and the City of Wildomar (collectively referred to as the “Copermittees”).

Monday (March 10) is the deadline for voters to register and be eligible to cast a ballot in the March 25 senate District 23 special primary election.
Approximately 9,400 vote-by-mail ballots will be mailed to voters starting Monday (March 10) for the City of Rancho Mirage municipal mail ballot election on April 8. Ballots should arrive in mailboxes by the end of the week. Voted ballots must be received by the Registrar of Voters office by 8 p.m. on April 8 to be counted.
